Retail Display Manufacturing FAQs

How long, how much, what materials, what process. The questions our clients actually ask — answered straight, with no filler.

Products, Materials & Printing

What types of retail display solutions does Delta Instore offer?
A comprehensive range: generic display units in various sizes, custom-designed display stands, wire dump bins (square and round), cardboard displays (freestanding and counter), tradeshow concept stands, gondola shelving, and “Shelfie” units. We also offer accessories — hooks, shelves, baskets, header options — plus printing and branding.
A POS display is a stand or fixture placed at or near the checkout, or in another high-traffic area, to drive product visibility and impulse purchases. Common formats include dump bins, counter-top displays, freestanding floor stands, and aisle end-caps.
Common materials include mild steel, wire, acrylic, PVC board, ABS plastic, cardboard, foam board, corrugated fluting, and vinyl. Delta Instore works with all of these and offers UV printing on most surfaces.
We manufacture using mild steel (sheet metal, square/rectangular/round tubing, wire), cardboard, and plastics including PVC, ABS and acrylic. Printing: UV, reverse UV, screen, and magnetic decal. Substrates: cardboard, Corex board, PVC board, acrylic, foam board, magnetic sheets, vinyl, and ABS.
PDF, AI, EPS, and high-resolution JPG. Supply at print resolution (300dpi at final size) with 3mm bleed.

Pricing, MOQ & Lead Time

MOQs vary by product type. Generic display units, custom stands, and wire dump bins: 10 units. Freestanding cardboard displays: 20 units. Counter cardboard displays: 50 units.
Pricing varies by material and quantity. Wire dump bins start around R800–R2,500 per unit. Custom steel displays run R3,000–R15,000 depending on spec. Cardboard POS units run R300–R1,500 per unit. Custom projects are quoted free of charge.
Depending on order size and complexity, production runs 17–20 working days. Many orders are placed in advance to ensure prompt delivery.
Typically 3–5 weeks from concept approval — roughly one week for 3D design, one week for prototype, two to three weeks for production. Expedited runs are possible for higher-volume orders.

Process, Quality & Prototyping

Concept meeting → 3D design renderings → prototype (where required) → production → secure delivery with installation components. Turnkey across design, manufacturing, packaging, and delivery.
Yes. We manufacture a working prototype for client approval before committing to a full run. Recommended for any custom project to verify dimensions, branding, and structural integrity in real-store conditions.
Every display is traced via a QR code tracking system, ensuring each product meets our standards for manufacturing and finishing. The system enables full accountability through the production process.
