Delta Instore manufactures custom gondola shelving from steel — single-sided wall units, double-sided floor islands, end-cap promotional fixtures, and our compact Shelfie range for stores with tight square meterage.
How our gondola units are built
Base shelf, vertical back panel, slotted uprights for adjustable shelves and accessories. Standard configurations work for most environments — but every dimension can be customised: height (1.2m, 1.6m, 1.8m, 2.1m, 2.4m), shelf depth, base footprint, header height, and slot spacing for peg hooks or basket inserts.
Construction is mild steel throughout, powder coated in a finish of your choice. Branded headers and end-cap panels are produced in our in-house print department — UV printing on PVC, acrylic, or magnetic decal substrates.
Customisation options
- Single-sided (against a wall) or double-sided (in-aisle, both faces merchandising product).
- Shelf material: steel, wire (permeable display), or laminated MDF for a softer retail look.
- Accessories: peg hooks, wire baskets, divider plates, ticket strips, branded headers, end-caps.
- Modular — units lock together to build any aisle length without gaps.
- Optional Shelfie configuration — compact, modular, for limited floor space (convenience stores, pharmacy alcoves, forecourts).

Gondola shelving is a fixed shelving system designed for permanent in-store product display. A dump bin is a freestanding wire or cardboard basket designed for impulse merchandise. Delta Instore manufactures both.

A Shelfie is a compact, modular display shelving system built by Delta Instore. It’s designed for retailers with limited floor space, and is fully customisable with branded headers and finish colours.
Can gondola shelving be moved or reconfigured later?
Yes. Our units are modular and bolt together — you can extend an aisle, reconfigure shelf heights, or swap between single- and double-sided as your store layout evolves.
How long does manufacturing take?
Standard lead time is 17–20 working days from sign-off. Larger national rollouts are quoted with their own production schedule.
Do you install gondola shelving?
Yes — installation is offered as part of our turnkey service. Each unit ships with all components and assembly instructions if your team prefers to install in-house.
